The PA program will award a $2500 scholarship to all students with a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale to help alleviate the financial burden of the program, enhance program retention, and recognize students for their success. No application is necessary as all qualified students will have the scholarship money automatically applied to their student accounts. To receive the scholarship, students must meet all eligibility criteria during the specified eligibility period.
Eligibility
- A student must be enrolled in the UMES PA program during the Fall 2024 semester.
- A student must be a part of the incoming cohort, Cohort 2026.
- A student must have a cumulative grade point average of a 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- If a student has decelerated from the previous cohort, their grade point average from the last semester enrolled in the program will be used.
- A student must be in good professional standing without having a professional improvement plan.
The UMES PA Scholarship eligibility period begins July 1, 2024, at 12:00am and ends September 1, 2024, at 11:59pm.
