A small engine machine operation and maintenance workshop will be hosted by UMES Extension from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 1.
Leading the intensive workshop on small engine machines and the BCS two-wheel tractor will be Shane LaBrake, who has 45 years of experience in agribusiness.
Participants will review of gasoline-powered two-stroke and four stroke engines, how they work and the maintenance implications, along with safety, troubleshooting and more. If you have a BCS two-wheel tractor, you can bring it for this workshop, which includes hands-on demonstrations.
Preregistration is required for each participant as space is limited. No walk-ups will be accepted. The cost for this event is $20 per person and includes lunch.
