UMES Extension will teach growers seed saving methods for specialty crop cultivars at a workshop to be held Oct. 9 at the UMES Research, Extension and Teaching Farm in Princess Anne.
Specialty crop cultivars are difficult to acquire. The “Harvest and Store Your Own Specialty Crop Seeds” workshop will educate growers on seed saving methods as a means of acquiring specialty cultivars for production.
