PRINCESS ANNE, MD – With a mission that blends academics and art, the Mosely Gallery at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore manages a year-round program of exhibits, with artists using a variety of media, from across the world and within the region.

The artists contributing to the gallery’s next exhibit are close to home. The members of the Artists’ Co-Op are all from the greater Salisbury area. At this point, the membership is also all female, though not necessarily by design.

Art lovers who visit area private galleries will recognize the names of many of those whose work will be on display. They include: Marie Cavallaro, April Devlin, Ann Eelman, Paula Hepburn, Angela Herbert-Hodges, Nancy Mysak, AinaNergaar-Nammack, Gloria Smith, Betty Sur, Sue Thomas and Marge Violetta.

The exhibit opens with a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 2. It will remain in the Mosely Gallery through Thursday, December 21.
