The University maintains strong security procedures as to who enters the campus facilities. The Department of Public Safety stops unregistered vehicles as they enter the rear of the campus, near the student’s residential areas.
All buildings are secured by the Department of Public Safety by 11:00pm on both weekdays and weekends. We recognize that there will be some need for after hour weekend access to buildings and offices. After hours a University I.D is required. Anyone needing access on weekends to building or offices should provide a letter to the Department of Public Safety, address to the Chief of Police, stating the time frame of their needs. Students working in the buildings after hours are required to have a letter of authorization in their possession from the dean, chair, building manger and instructor granting permission with a University I.D. A copy of the letter is to be provided to the Department of Public Safety.
