Edible insects are on the table at UMES with a Bug Banquet, Symposium, Film Screenings, Family Bug Buffet, Workshops and more!
Description
UMES Extension will host celebrity Chef Joseph Yoon of Brooklyn Bugs for a series of edible insect events April 3-6. Learn about innovations in Insect Agriculture and the potential to address food security, sustainability and climate change. Bug Buffet and Banquet meals will be prepared by Chef Yoon and the UMES Culinary Program.
