University Terrace, often referred to as “U.T.,” is the newest freshman female residential community at UMES, providing a vibrant and welcoming environment for over 300 Hawks each semester. Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, U.T. offers suite-style rooms with semi-private bathrooms, giving students a balance of privacy and community living. The residence hall is strategically located close to key campus facilities, including the Student Services Center (SSC), central campus areas, and the Engineering and Aviation Science Complex, making it an ideal choice for students who want easy access to academic and social activities.

Inside University Terrace, residents can enjoy a variety of amenities, such as multiple gathering spaces for study sessions or socializing, a fully-equipped kitchen for preparing meals, and on-site free laundry facilities. The hall is designed to foster a sense of community and support among its residents, providing a comfortable, safe, and engaging place to call home during their freshman year.
