PRINCESS ANNE, MD – The University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s seventh annual Tri-County College Fair will be held on Friday, November 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the William P. Hytche Athletic Center. Recruiters from over 132 colleges, universities and the Armed Services are scheduled to attend. 

High schools in the Tri-County area as well as Baltimore and New York will be sending 1,500 students to the event. Junior and senior high school students, their parents and counselors can browse the many tables to discuss educational opportunities with participating institutions.

A few of the institutions attending to date include, but are not limited to, Harvard University, New York Institute of Technology, Penn State University, East Carolina University, Florida Southern College, High Point University, Ithaca College, Kent State University, Norfolk State University, Saint John’s University, Shippensburg University and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.  UMES and the University System of Maryland schools will also be represented.

“We anticipate the annual college fair to continue to be highly successful, as in the past,” said Tyrone Young, director of admissions and recruitment.  “The Tri-County College Fair is one of the largest on the Lower Shore.”
