UMES Open House Welcomes High School Seniors
PRINCESS ANNE, MD – (Oct. 1, 2010) – High school seniors are invited this Saturday to attend the first in a series of open house events at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne.
The two-hour event begins at 10 a.m. in the theater of the Student Services Center. It is an opportunity for students and their parents to learn about admissions requirements, financial aid and housing.
Representatives from academic departments also will be on hand to answer questions about degree programs and internships. A campus tour also will be conducted. Students can qualify for an early admission review if they bring their high school transcripts and scores from college entrance test like the SAT.
