UMES offers Spanish for healthcare professionals

PRINCESS ANNE, MD-(Sept. 19, 2012) Registration is now open for a one-day class, “Spanish for Healthcare Professionals,” Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Foreign Language Instructional Center.

The class provides practical vocabulary and cultural understanding to persons working in the medical field; no prior knowledge of Spanish is required.  It is taught by a native-speaking instructor in a state-of-the-art language learning classroom.
