PRINCESS ANNE, MD – (July 26, 2012) — Dr. Enrique Nelson Escobar offers a roundtable for new and beginning sheep and goat producers on Saturday, August 18, at the Center for Food Science and Technology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. x
The roundtable presents basic concepts for sheep and goat producers who are just beginning to or who are thinking about raising small ruminants for production. One hundred and one questions will be answered!
The morning session offers participants the chance to interact one-on-one in a classroom setting with the specialist(s) as well as with other producers. The afternoon session includes a question and answer period with a panel of sheep and goat producers as well as hands-on activities on the UMES Small Ruminant Farm.
