Welcome one and all to Maroon and Gray Country- Home of the Fighting UMES HAWKS! It’s Homecoming 2008- “Unbroken Links: Love for the Past, Hope For the Future!
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Maryland State College) will celebrate 59 years of Homecoming tradition! Homecoming is a time for alumni, students, and the entire HAWK Family to celebrate their alma mater and show their HAWK Pride and Spirit!
Events include annual activities such as the Homecoming Fashion Show, Alumni Meetings, Concert, Luncheon, parade, and the ever popular Men’s/Women Basketball Game. The HAWKS will take on the Florida A & M University Rattlers at William P. Hytche Athletic Center! Reunions will be hosted for selected Alumni Classes, Greeks, and special interest groups.
Homecoming is planned by the Homecoming Steering Committee, which consists of selected departments and student volunteers under the leadership of the President’s Office, National Alumni Association, Office of Alumni Affairs, Office of Student Activities, and the Student Government Association.
