If you wish to have your work removed or excluded from automatic upload to SOAR@UMES, please email mdsoar@umes.edu with your name, year of graduation, and title of theses/dissertation.
If you wish to publish a work that is not a thesis or dissertation, please follow the instructions under “Submit Work.”
Faculty and Staff
We welcome all educational materials, including but not limited to published research, unpublished materials, technical reports, conference papers, data sets, teaching materials, and presentations. To upload work, you must be the copyright holder or have documented permission from the copyright holder(s), such as your publisher.
If you wish to establish an embargo on your materials (e.g. 6 or 12 months), the SOAR@UMES team can establish a delay of public access until the predetermined time.
Your work can be linked to your personal OrchID ensuring that regardless of future endeavors, you will always be linked to your UMES research. Click the OrchID link to learn more about OrchID, the benefits of a persistent identifier, and how to create your own today!
