“Celebrating the Journey: The 125th Anniversary of UMES” 1886-2011

During the 2011-12 academic year, UMES will celebrate a journey from humble beginnings as a secondary school for Negroes in post-Civil War America to a vibrant, culturally diverse university taking on the challenges of the 21st century.
