Aviation Maintenance Training Program

Coming Soon!

Get ready to soar with our new Aviation Maintenance Technician program. This exciting program is being developed in partnership with Piedmont Airlines, the Salisbury-Wicomico County Regional Airport, and Salisbury-Wicomico Economic Development

Are you passionate about aviation and ready to take your career to new heights? Our program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become successful maintenance technicians in the aviation industry.

According to a report by the international aviation consulting firm Oliver Wyman, the industry is expected to face a shortage of 12,000 to 18,000 aviation maintenance workers in 2023, with the imbalance between supply and demand projected to persist and worsen over the next 10 years.

Our program will cover all aspects of aircraft maintenance, including airframe and powerplant maintenance, avionics systems, and aircraft inspection. The curriculum will be designed to prepare students for the FAA* certification exams and includes both classroom instruction and hands-on training in state-of-the-art laboratories.

Our experienced faculty will be dedicated to providing students with the best possible education and training, bringing real-world experience from the aviation industry, and providing personalized attention to ensure each student has the opportunity to succeed.

Gain valuable experience through internships with industry partners and apply the knowledge and skills you have learned in the classroom to real-world situations.
