Eighth Graduate Education Week
Twelfth Annual Regional Research Symposium
April 18, 2024
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Posters should be designed and formatted to compete with those from your Academic Areas. All posters must indicate the following:
- Title, presenting author name, co-author name(s), affiliations, city and state as presented in the abstract.
- Generally, posters should include: an Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Literature cited, and Acknowledgements.
- Poster Board Displays will be provided which will accommodate
- Poster Paper Presentations up to a maximum size of 32 inches wide and 48 inches long.
- Poster Presentations smaller than this maximum size (such as those prepared on commercial poster board) are acceptable.
- Poster T-pins will be provided.
- Educational posters that require additional securing due to weight or display media should email either adyoung@umes.edu or agpotter@umes.edu and request those items.
- The times and locations of the poster presentations will be listed in the program. Once the agenda is completed, these times will be emailed to you and will also be provided at registration.
- Poster set up will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on April 18, 2024.
- Poster presenters are expected to display their posters for the full time of the poster session and are required to be available for questions.
- Poster breakdown is scheduled to be completed at the end of the session which is expected to be 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. April 18, 2024.
