Advancing Rehabilitation Counseling (ARC) Project – RSA-LTT Grant

The Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) is a federal agency that supports programs helping people with disabilities prepare for and achieve meaningful employment. One way RSA does this is through scholarships like the Long-Term Training (LTT) Grant, which funds universities to train future rehabilitation counselors. By becoming an RSA scholar, you are part of a program designed to strengthen public vocational rehabilitation services across the country.

Graduate Assistantships

A Graduate Assistantship (GA) at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) provides financial support to graduate students in exchange for academic, research, or administrative service to the university. Assistantships typically include a stipend and tuition remission, helping students manage the cost of graduate education while gaining valuable professional experience. By accepting a GA position, students agree to fulfill assigned responsibilities that contribute to both their development and the mission of UMES.

Limited number of positions available for Graduate Administrative Assistantship in the Department of Rehabilitation. Other Graduate Assistantships available through the School of Graduate Studies (https://wwwcp.umes.edu/grad/)
