The policies, rules and regulations for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Aquatic Facility have been established for the benefit and protection of all aquatic facility users, to ensure the safe operation of the swimming pool, and to promote a safe and enjoyable recreational experience for all UMES students, faculty, and staff. Our policies are not exhaustive. The aquatics staff retains the authority to prohibit any behavior that could endanger our patrons or staff. All UMES students, faculty, and staff are responsible for behaving in a safe manner while complying with posted and published policies and following the instructions of the aquatics staff. Failure to comply with these policies is sufficient cause for suspension of swimming privileges.
