From 1:00 – 5:00: Colleagues and students from across campus show us innovative projects and invite you to participate, interact, go hands-on, and fly a plane!
- Try out the flight simulator from the Department of Aviation
- Visit with the AI bots designed by Computer Science students
- Meet the founder and organizer of the Ocean City Comic Con (coming up in December!)
- Interact with members of the Food & Agricultural Sciences Club
- Pitch an idea to the folks at the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation — and join a mini-workshop about launching your own start-up
- Try your hand at calligraphy — in Japanese or Arabic
- Take the HCASC Challenge with the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge team and trivia your heart out — you could even win some swag

History Professor Dr. Marshall Stevenson (and Dean of SESA) engages us on how we’re all feeling about the progress (and backlash) of Social Justice in the media (and out).
3:00-4:30: Invited Talk with author Jerry Mikorenda | America’s First Freedom Rider
Did you know that a century before Rosa Parks and the 13 Freedom Riders of 1961, there was a woman in 1854 who refused to step off a horsecar and as a result, was assaulted by the conductor and a NYC policeman? Hear about her lawsuit and her defense attorney who would go on to become a US President!
5:00 – 7:00: LIVE! with Amber Eggers
Our headliner this year. Ms. Amber Eggers takes a break from filming Life After Lockup on WeTV to join Dr. Dana Little on stage. Amber will talk about a range of topics including the US prison system, social justice efforts, and, of course, reality television. Have a question for Amber? There will be Q&A!
