NOAA LMRCSC STUDENTS COORDINATE SEMINAR SERIES
Students from across each of the partner institutions of the NOAA LMRCSC have collaborated to plan and present at the NOAA LRMCSC Seminar Series. So far, the series has featured the research of six students from various partner universities of the LMRCSC.

- Larry Redd, Jr., master’s alumnus of Hampton University, “Gastric Evacuation and Growth of Juvenile Florida Pompano”
- Cara Schweitzer, University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), “Effects of Fishing Traps on Essential Fish Habitat in the Mid-Atlantic Bight”
- Bruce Pohlot, doctoral student at University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, “A Scientific Report on Billfish Research at The Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science”
- Justin Wilson, master’s student at UMES, “Age Determination of Red Deep-Sea Crab (Chaceon quinquedens) by Growth Ring Analysis.”
- Stephanie Martinez-Rivera, master’s student at UMES, “Reproductive Biology of the Red Deep-Sea Crab (Chaceon quinquedens) in the Mid-Atlantic Bight”
- Marisa Litz, doctoral student at Oregon State University, “What can we learn about the feeding ecology of juvenile salmon using an integrated biochemical approach?”
