Dr. Mohammad Ali is a tenured Professor in the Department of Business, Management and Accounting at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Food and Resource Economics from University of Florida, Gainesville, USA. He also earned his M.A. (Economics) and MBA from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. His more than 18 years’ experiences include working for Bangladesh Biman (national airlines), Bangladesh Bank (the central bank), and the Comptroller & Auditor General of Bangladesh requiring a two-years’ duration professional academic training certificate on advanced Accounting and Auditing. Dr. Ali teaches in areas of International Business and Trade, Management and Economics and conducts research on Agricultural Production & Business, Environmental Economics & Agricultural Practices, and Consumer Behavior.
