In 2025 he was named the Association for Career and Technical Education’s (ACTE) Region 1 Teacher Educator of the Year<\/a>. He has published over 100 books, peer-reviewed articles, conference papers, and other scholarly works on CTE and STEM education topics. Dr. Love previously taught technology and engineering (T&E) education in Queen Anne’s County Public Schools and the Howard County Public School System. He is an Authorized OSHA Trainer for General Industry and has served on numerous committees at the state and national levels that developed P-12 engineering education standards and STEM education safety guides. Prior to working for UMES, he was an Assistant Professor of elementary\/middle grades STEM education at Penn State University’s Capital Campus. Dr. Love was an honor’s program student, student athlete (baseball), and 1 of 30 national finalists for the NCAA’s Division 1 Baseball Senior CLASS award during his undergraduate career at UMES where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Technology Education.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n *Below is a list of select publications and presentations.
