Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) at UMES<\/strong> is dedicated to fostering faculty success<\/strong> through innovative, research-based teaching practices. As a decentralized resource<\/strong>, CTE provides flexible and accessible support to educators across disciplines, empowering them to create dynamic, student-centered learning experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grounded in High-Impact Practices (HIPs)<\/strong> and evidence-based pedagogy, CTE offers intentional programming<\/strong> designed to enhance teaching effectiveness, promote inclusive and engaged learning environments, and support faculty at every stage of their professional development. Through workshops, collaborative learning communities, and tailored resources, we cultivate a culture of excellence, equity, and innovation<\/strong> in teaching and learning at UMES.<\/p>\n\n\n
