Research Symposium 2023
During the Research Symposium, students from all disciplines, majors, and colleges come together projects and interests they’re passionate about. Students can present research, creative projects, data stories, works-in-progress, etc. in a variety of formats and media. We hope you’ll join us in sharing your work!
TYPES OF PRESENTATIONS
Oral presenters will be placed in a panel with list of judges. Each presentation is 13 minutes that includes both 10 minutes for speaking and 3 minutes for questions.
Research posters allow participants to present scholarly and creative work through visual and textual content, such as tables, graphs, images, and citations, to convey information succinctly and engagingly with the audience.
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an academic competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia for research students to present their research for not more than 3 minutes in lay-man terms.
