The University of Maryland Eastern Shore has several chapters of Greek Letter Organizations (NPHC), along with Non-Greek Social Fellowships (CIO). The active organizations on campus are committed to serving their community and uplifting the students of their HBCU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to to be eligible for intake and initiation of any NPHC or Independent organization, every student of UMES must:
-Have Earned a Minimum of 28 Credits or More
-Earn a Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.75
-Be a Full-Time Registered Student (12 credits or more for the semester)
-Must Have Attended UMES For Two (2) Consecutive Semesters
-Exemplify Good Citizenship<\/p>\n\n\n\n
