Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship Program (DDETFP) Research Showcase.&nbsp; Among the participants were&nbsp;MukubiKatowa&nbsp;(graduate student &#8211; computer science), Tiffany Jones (undergraduate- aviation management) and Xavier Henry (undergraduate- professional pilot).&nbsp;&nbsp; Students attended various exhibits from multiple transportation disciplines over the week-long event.&nbsp; Topics included congestion mitigation, safety and environmental stewardship, emergency preparedness, response and recovery.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the participants from UMES,&nbsp;Katowa&nbsp;was selected to participate in a poster session to discuss his on-going research on Ad-Hoc Network Systems and their application in transportation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dwight D.
