On Saturday, September 29, the workshop will begin at 10 a.m. in Room 1102 in the UMES Food Science and Technology Center.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Topics of discussion for the workshop include, but are not limited to, growing pumpkin and Day Neutral Strawberries (March through November) and building a trellis for the Dwarf Apple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Farmers, agriculture professionals, home gardeners, agriculture students and community families are invited to attend as well as to join the SARE Apple Team at UMES.&nbsp; Under Kumar\u2019s direction, the team enjoys year-round workshops and trainings as he promotes apple cultivation in Maryland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A boxed lunch will be provided to everyone who pre-registers by Thursday, September 20.&nbsp;
