The event, held Feb. 5, 2026 was hosted by the Maryland Agriculture Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt was an honor talking to Maryland legislators about their role in agriculture leadership,\u201d Rabb said.<br><br> The event stood out to her as an opportunity to network with a variety of agricultural stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rabb and Clarke are general agriculture majors concentrating in animal science\/pre-vet at UMES slated to graduate in spring 2026. They are also UMES Land-Grant Scholars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was inspired by meeting key agricultural figures in Maryland, along with farmers, delegates and representatives from different counties.
