The professor of biological and environmental sciences at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore will join senior-level executives to discuss critical issues facing Marylanders and to be a force for positive change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to announce our next class and welcome these accomplished and motivated individuals to the Executive Program,\u201d said David Fike, president and CEO, Leadership Maryland. \u201cAfter a careful review and interview process, I am confident that the 53 members of the Class of 2025 represent a powerful cross-section of leaders who have a strong desire to make a broader impact within our state. I look forward to watching them grow as they build their knowledge, experience and connections through our premier leadership program.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mitra and fellow participants will complete an eight-month program beginning in April, meeting for two-day sessions focused on vital issues. More than 100 experts from the state will service as panelists and guest speakers.
