The center focuses on the most important pest problems and makes science-based information available to everyone who contends with pests. In addition, UMES-CIPM serves the people in the Delmarva region to find low-risk solutions to pest and pesticide problems.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mission &amp; Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UMES-CIPM nurtures the development and adoption of&nbsp;integrated pest management tactics. The center works to integrate different pest management strategies in a socially acceptable, economically affordable, and environmentally friendly way.
