DESCRIPTION:\nCelebrate the 135th anniversary of the 2nd Morrill Act on Tuesday\, April 22\, with a Wellness Walk (1.89 miles) through campus\, starting at 10 a.m.\n\n\n\nThe 2nd Morrill Act of 1890 established 19 land-grant institutions for African American students\, including UMES.\n\n\n\nThe walk will begin outside Ella Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center on the UMES campus (Rain location: Hytche Athletic Center) and end at Student Services Center\, where the SANS DASL Expo is being held.\n\n\n\nWear UMES colors. Sign in ahead of the walk and pick up your free commemorative giveaway. There is no cost to participate.\n\n\n\nDuring the Expo\, student clubs will showcase their activities and leadership initiatives to the campus community.\n
