DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nThe Second Annual Dean's Award for Student Leadership (DASL) Expo\, sponsored by the SANS Center for Student Excellence\, will be held on Earth Day\, Tuesday\, April 22\, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Student Services Center on the University of Maryland Eastern Shore campus.\n\n\n\nJoin student clubs from the School of Agricultural and Natural Sciences for a day of fun\, food\, and student-centered activities\,  opportunities and collaboration. This event is open to the UMES campus community. \n\n\n\nCo-hosted by NorthBay Education and the UMES chapter of the Environmental Science Association (winners of the 2024 DASL Award)\, the outdoor extravaganza celebrates Earth Day and the 135th anniversary of the 2nd Morrill Act.\n\n\n\nA health walk will also be held culminating at DASL Expo.\n\n\n\nThe event will feature an introduction of the UMES Sustainability Committee in keeping with its broad sustainable development theme and a GreenHawk sustainability pledge.\n
