Ag Showcase 2025 at UMES

UMES Extension presents Ag Showcase 2025 with partners Simplot Grower Solutions and Atlantic Tractor on Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Learn about corn and soybean varity field trials. Observe and discuss drone flight demonstrations. Visit agricultural exhibits. Learn about UMES Extension and School of Agricultural and Natural Sciences research.

The free event will be held 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the UMES Research, Extension and Teaching Farm in Princess Anne.

The showcase features:

  • Crop and equipment demos
  • Corn and soybean variety field trials
  • Phosphorus management products
  • Precision ag equipment and tools
  • Drones in precision agriculture demo
  • Alternative crop production and farming systems

Attendees will learn about:

  • Simplot Grower Solutions’ corn and soybean field trials use Innvictis Seed Solutions, Brevant Seeds and Seed Consultants. For the corn trials, 2×2 fertilizer placement using AgroLiquid and Innvictis fertilizer will be compared to grower standard and no liquid fertilizer. Xyway fungicide will be compared to no Xyway fungicide in the 2×2 fertilizer at planting. For the soybean trials, foliar nutrient application with Lucento (FMC) fungicide will be compared.
  • Atlantic Tractor will provide updates on ExactShot agronomy results; demo overview of Furrow Vision, a performance upgrade for John Deere planters; and showcase their operations center.
  • Sentinel Robotics Solutions will demo its drone technology.

Pre-registration is required by July 30. Lunch will be provided. The rain date is Aug. 7.

TO REGISTER AS AN EXHIBITOR:

Registration for exhibitors/vendors is $50, due July 30. The exhibitor price includes one booth space, one 6-foot table (no tablecloth), one chair, one attendee ticket and company name recognition.
