<\/a>To download and install:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to the screen recorder website<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Select \u201cLaunch Free Recorder\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on the \u201cWebLaunchRecorder.exe\u201d file in the bottom left corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The program will install. This should not require an \u201cAdmin ID & Password\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can sign up for a free account and create your account, but an account is not needed to utilize the recorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/a>To Begin recording:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    You will notice a rectangular dashed line around your screen with a small control panel. You will need to widen or narrow this dashed rectangle to fit the portion of your screen that you would like to record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on the \u201cscreen\u201d button to capture your screen while recording.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click on the three lines next to the Red Record button to test your microphone.
      You should see green lines light up when you are speaking.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click the arrow to the right of the \u201cNarration\u201d section to troubleshoot any microphone issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Click the Red REC button to begin the recording. It will give you a countdown until it starts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Click the blue \u201cPause \u201c(II) \u201ccircle when you are finished recording.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Click \u201cDone\u201d when you are satisfied with your recording. Or the trash can icon if you would like to start over<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Click on \u201cSave\/Upload\u201d to save the video.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    At this point, you can review the video or proceed with saving the file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Select the \u201cSave as Video File\u201d option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Name your video file, choose the folder to save it to (desktop is recommended for easy access), and change the cursor option if desired<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Click on the green \u201cPublish\u201d icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Click on \u201cDone\u201d when you are finished.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Please email the final version of the video(Titled: Firstname_Lastname_2026 Research Symposium Poster Video) to welangwe@umes.edu<\/strong> and copy casuzu@umes.edu<\/strong> and rmohamedkheir@umes.edu<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
