OUR PROGRAM<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Psychology<\/strong> is offered within the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions<\/strong> at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore<\/strong>. This undergraduate program provides students with a strong academic foundation in psychological theory, human development, and the behavioral aspects of disability and rehabilitation. It prepares students to understand and support individuals coping with trauma, adjustment, and mental health challenges across the lifespan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students explore the psychological dimensions of disability, recovery, and resilience, while developing critical skills in communication, ethics, and cultural responsiveness. Graduates are well-prepared for entry-level roles in behavioral health and human services, or to pursue advanced study in fields such as clinical or counseling psychology, rehabilitation counseling, school psychology, or related areas. The program emphasizes a commitment to inclusive practice, evidence-based care, and advocacy for diverse and underserved populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
