A member of St. James AME Zion Church in Salisbury, she has been president of the St. James AME Zion Missio\u00adnaries for 10 years. She is the current chair of the St. James AME Zion Church Scholarship Fund. Orr is a mentor for the Wicomico County Board of Education. Orr and her children are the sponsors for the Coach Michael Orr Memorial Scholarship at James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury MD.<br>Orr is former president of the Mental Health Association of the Lower Shore. She currently serves on Wor-Wic\u2019s \u201cPreparing for a Stronger Tomorrow\u201d campaign committee and serves as a director of Wor-Wic\u2019s Foundation Board.<br>Orr is currently an adjunct lecturer at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.<br>Orr earned bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.\u00a0<br>She enjoys cooking , baking, family time and spending time at the beach.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prof. Orr retired as the Somerset County director of Go-Getters in Princess Anne MD.
