Any course may be repeated, but if you repeat a course in which you have already earned a passing grade, the subsequent attempt shall not increase the total hours earned toward the degree.\u00a0 Credits for repeated courses will be counted only once toward graduation requirements and in computation of the cumulative grade point average.\u00a0 Only the highest grade will be used in the computation of the cumulative grade point average; however, all grades earned remain on the permanent record with repeated courses identified.\u00a0 Repeat credits and corresponding grades are used when computing semester grade point average.\u00a0 If a course you wish to repeat has been discontinued or has not been offered for two semesters, you should request the Department Chair and Dean to designate a substitute course, which when taken and passed, the computation of the original discontinued course would not count against the student.\u00a0 The title of the substitute course along with your name should be reported in writing to the Office of the Registrar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
