Team Entries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Check the Recreation Program Website for intramural registration dates. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home\">http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>It is your responsibility to check the website for registration deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Organize friends, residence hall mates, and\/or co-workers to form a team. (University Maryland Eastern Shore Students, Faculty and Staff only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Register Online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home:%20\">http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home:<\/a> Click on Fall Sports or Spring Sports then select team registration or free agent registration for corresponding sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Attend one of the scheduled team captain meetings. Captain meetings are mandatory. If the team captain is unable to attend the meeting, he or she must send a replacement to the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>B. Free Agents (Individual entered without a team) &amp; Individual Sport Entries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Free agent registration is available for individuals who have not been able to join or find a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Free agents are expected to attend captain\u2019s meetings in order to place you with a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. If there are enough free agents to field a team one may be formed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Roster Regulations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. All participants must read and sign the team roster\/waiver form in its entirety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Rosters are capped based on individual sport. Please reference the recreational website for a complete list of intramural sports offered. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home\">http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>It is your responsibility to check the website for roster rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Players who have not signed the roster\/waiver form are ineligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. When adding a new player, including free agents, the team captain must submit a new Team Registration Form prior to the registration deadline. The registration deadline can be found on the website under the corresponding sport. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home\">http:\/\/www.imleagues.com\/spa\/intramural\/3e05d4651698499f807748e8ff3d2b2a\/home<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. Participants may only play for one team per league. Playing in one game declares your allegiance to that team for the remainder of that season\/tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>D. Individual Participant Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following criteria establish requirements for individual intramural participation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. Participant must be University of Maryland Eastern Shore student, faculty, or staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Participants must possess a valid University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawk Card.  A player who cannot produce an UMES card will not be permitted to play. <strong>Any team using an ineligible player will forfeit the contest in question.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Students who are members of a NCAA sports team, may not participate in the corresponding intramural sport. Student-athletes who are listed on the official NCAA roster at the start of the academic school year are ineligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Students that play Club Sports are allowed to compete in their corresponding sports. Teams deemed to have a competitive advantage may be reviewed by the Intramural Coordinator and asked to restructure team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>REGISTRATION A.
