Prior to joining UMES, she spent nearly a decade teaching in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Howard Community College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Durant is deeply committed to advancing the profession through service, education, and clinical scholarship. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), with membership in the Pelvic Health, Orthopaedics, and Education sections. Dr. Durant is a dual board-certified clinical specialist in Women\u2019s Health and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her professional work centers on bridging orthopedics and pelvic health, curricular development, and advancing pelvic health competencies in entry-level PT and PTA education.
