(410) 651-7918<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The housekeeping&nbsp;work center ensures that all facility interiors are maintained according to the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness.&nbsp;All housekeepers\/service workers are&nbsp;provided hands-on training on&nbsp;proper&nbsp;cleaning procedures and&nbsp;use of equipment.&nbsp; Housekeepers and Service Workers are provided the opportunity&nbsp;to become certified in the following areas:&nbsp; Chemistry of Cleaning, Basic Cleaning for Above-Floor Surfaces, Basic Cleaning of Restrooms, Basic Cleaning of Carpeted Floor Surfaces, and Basic Cleaning of Hard Floor Surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>Services<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Linen services<\/li><li>Custodial maintenance of furnishings, windows, tile, fixtures, equipment, and floors<\/li><li>Sanitation and disinfection<\/li><li>Furniture&nbsp;relocation, removal&nbsp;and disposal<\/li><li>Refuse removal and disposal including collection of recyclables<\/li><li>Set up for University events<\/li><li>Office relocation&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>&nbsp;&#8220;Being Green&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Housekeeping&nbsp;has incorporated environmentally sustainable work practices&nbsp;such as using environmentally-safer cleaning chemicals and paper products,&nbsp;re-using supplies whenever possible, and recycling empty cleaning product containers.&nbsp;
