Under the mentorship of Dr. Amy Fulton, she worked as postdoctoral fellow from at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer. During her postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Reader examined the role of inflammation on triple negative breast metastasis and breast cancer disparities. In 2015, Dr. Reader joined the Division of Gynecologic Oncology as a Research Associate in the Department of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Sciences where she focused on basic and translational research projects in ovarian and other gynecologic malignancies.
