She conducted a USDA NIFA internship in the summer of 2024 at Delaware State University, where she researched Calico crayfish to assess the effects of global change on reproduction under lowered pH conditions, under the mentorship of Grant Blank, including a two-week training at Auburn University in Alabama. In the summer of 2025, she completed an undergraduate TAB internship at the University of Miami, analyzing recreational fisheries catch and angler perspectives on Blue Marlin and Dolphinfish, mentored by Michelle Fernandez.
