They graduated from UMES in 2020 with a B.S. in Environmental Science. Their research involved analyzing the gut content, stable isotopes, and fatty acids of the summer flounder, <em>Paralichthys dentatus<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon completion of her B.S. Nylah began pursuing a Ph.D., also at UMES. Nylah conducted research in Japan as a NSEP David L. Boren Fellow from October 2022 to March 2023. They joined the LMRCSC graduate program in Fall 2023 and are being advised by Dr. Ali Ishaque.
