Michelle Fernandez earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida in 2021. She then earned a Master of Professional Science degree from the University of Miami in Marine Conservation in 2022. Her masters project was titled “Impact of SEAHIVE\u2122 installation on shoreline structural complexity and fish species diversity and abundance. I. Habitat baseline and assessment.” She is now pursuing a doctoral degree in Marine Biology and Ecology, with Dr. David Die as her advisor, characterizing small-scale\/artisanal fishery interactions with blue marlin and yellowfin tuna in the Inter-American Seas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
