She worked in Dr. Yantao Li&#8217;s lab studying algal biology and biotechnology. Specifically, her research focused on the green microalga, <em>Haematococcus pluvialis<\/em>, and investigating ways to cultivate this species on an industrial scale for antioxidant production. Kyarii earned her B.S. and M.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kyarii graduated in November 2024.
