Ashley Silver is a Ph.D. student in the Marine-Estuarine-Environmental Sciences graduate program at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. In 2013, she obtained her M.S. in Environmental Science from Hampton University, where she studied temperature effects on pre- and post-settlement processes in the Gulf of Alaska. Her interests are fish ecology and fisheries management. Advised by Dr. Paulinus Chigbu, Ashley\u2019s research is focused on comparing juvenile fish utilization of Maryland coastal bays and coastal ocean as nursery grounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
