Adrianne Wilson received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Northwestern University in 2014. In 2017, she successfully completed her Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Florida Mechanical and Agricultural University. Here she studied the population dynamics of larval fish in the Gulf of Mexico. She joined LMRCSC in 2017 under the advisement of Dr. Elizabeth Babcock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adrianne graduated from University of Miami Rosenstiel School with a Ph.D. in Marine Biology & Ecology, studying the age, growth and genetic diversity of Lane Snapper. She will start a post-doc position with the North Gulf Institute at Mississippi State University, based at NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory in Miami. In the position, she will use eDNA and eRNA to evaluate the biodiversity of microbes in the Northern Gulf of Mexico and their roles in the biological carbon pump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
