She studied the effects of temperature and marine heatwaves on the growth and feeding ecology of the early life stages of Pacific Cod in the Gulf of Alaska. She hopes to merge her interests in fisheries ecology, marine heatwaves, ecological modeling, and teaching into a career as a fisheries scientist.
