University of Maryland Eastern Shore<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephanie received her B.S. in Coastal Marine Biology in 2012 from the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao Campus. She joined the LMRCSC in January 2014 under the advisement of Dr. Bradley Stevens and received her doctoral degree<\/a> in December of 2018. Her research focused on reproductive biology and histology of deep-sea red crabs (Chaceon quinquedens<\/em>). Stephanie’s research interests are in fisheries management, ecology and population dynamics of crustaceans. She was the first recipient of the NOAA LMRCSC\u2019s Scott B. Gudes Public Service Graduate Scholarship in Marine Resource Conservation in 2017. Stephanie is currently a Fisheries Biologist at the NOAA Southeast Fisheries Science Center, Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
