Prior to his work at UMES, Dr. Prosser, earned his Class \u201cA\u201d PGA Membership with the PGA of America and spent 10 years in the golf industry beginning while working private and public golf facilities throughout the Midwest. He has been a PGA Member for over 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His doctoral dissertation addressed the racial marginalization of African American males in the Professional Golfers\u2019 Association of America (PGA). His research created a Professional Development Program for the PGA that centers around increasing diversity and inclusion within the PGA membership. His current research interests and other scholarly inquiry surround diversity and social justice with a focus on underrepresentation and issues of racism within sport organizations, specifically located within the golf industry.
